Please help liven up this day with the color of the 4th of July. Prizes for the best house/yard will be awarded. Judging to take place sometime around midday. Wednesday July 4th Enforcement of Lake Sawyer Marine Rules We would like to hear from any non-lake or Lake Residents about any issues regarding rule violations (Speeding after hours, unsafe boating practices, etc.) that are happening on the lake. The question is are we receiving adequate BDPolice marine coverage on the lake. Do we need certain times the lake needs coverage, what are the major concern we should be focusing on and what do you think about BDPolice current Marine patrolling of Lk Sawyer. These are just questions that have been brought to LSCC attention. Please call Steve Garvich at 886-1837 to show your concern on safe boating on Lk Sawyer. Now is the time to discuss and implement change or needed service on the lake. Coming this Summer Details for up coming dock parties will be in the post-4th of July newsletter. Spring Adopt-A-Road The Adopt-a-Road spring clean-up was a big success thanks to the following
people: Kevin and Ryan Epstein, Janie Edelman, Fred Weston, Orville and
Donna Peterson, Dick Veldhuis, Linda and Al Hermann. Also, a special thanks
to Lois and Alf Ladderud for their continuous support throughout the year.
They pick up litter on their daily walks and runs throughout the neighborhood.
Thanks to all our civic minded neighbors, the grounds of the Lake Sawyer
area look better!
We had about a dozen people show up for the spring clubhouse cleanup. Couldn't ask for a better day weather wise. We concentrated our efforts on cleaning up the outside plant beds, we weeded, trimmed and cleaned front and back areas. What a difference it made to the appearance of the property, it looked clean and crisp again. We need to do this a least a couple of times a year. Thanks to Richard Kale, Carol Benson, Gary Farmer, Annette Thompson, Cindy Kerley, Doug, Julie, Kaitlin & Kurt Geiger, Lynne and son Doug Christie, Jean Boston and Steve Garvich for contributing their time and energy. Thanks Again.
